BareTroupe, UC Berkeley’s premier musical theater performance troupe, performs a showcase of songs at the end of every semester. In addition to being a performing member of the group, and as of Fall 2024, co-music manager, I often serve as a choreographer. BareTroupe Showcases
I choreographed three numbers in my final showcase, “Chillin’ the Regrets” from Alice by Heart with Lydia Watson, “New Money” from The Great Gatsby with Ayani Dorsey, and “Chant (Reprise)” from Hadestown with Dale Tanner. I also transcribed and arranged “Eve” from In The Green as an a cappella piece for performance in this showcase.

In addition to serving as co-music manager, I choreographed four numbers, “Company” from Company with Ayani Dorsey, “A Wild, Wild Party” from The Wild Party with Dale Tanner, “Down the Hole” from Alice by Heart with Aleshani Altan, and “Big Spender” from Sweet Charity on my own! “Haus Party”
In my junior spring showcase, in addition to work in duets and small group numbers, I choreographed two of our full company numbers, “Magic to Do” from Pippin and “Deep Beneath the City” from In Transit. Watch those numbers and our full Spring 2024 showcase, Haus Party, here!
On October 22nd, 2023, BareTroupe was invited to perform at the BroadwaySF Open House at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco. As a member of the troupe, I performed our three song set on the Orpheum Stage. The first number, “Welcome to the Moulin Rouge” was choreographed by myself and Jorge Ramos.
